Page file problem

I re-installed XP after a virus clean-up and I cannot set
the page file size. It comes up every time and says the
page file is non-existant. I followed instructions from
Microsoft Knowledge DB for setting permissions on the
administrators' account to set the page file, but still no-go.

What else can I try?

Look at Control Panel|ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS - for the Intel Application
Excelerator.
If it's listed, delete it. Then go here, read the documentation
thoroughly, then install the latest I.A.A. version...
