Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this problem. Thanks in
advance. Using XP and ie6 to browse i frequently get a warning page saying
that the page that I have gone back to has expired. I then have to hit the
refresh button to open it again. This is extremely frustating on sites such
as ebay where a person frequently uses the back button when searching for an
item. Is this some type of setting in ie6 that will cause a page to
"expire" after just a few seconds.

Most likely it's a server side thing. I've run into this message when
trying to backtrack to a page from a secured site or a site that requires a
logon.

This is controlled on the "vendors" server - is usually done with secure
pages and pages that display data that updates frequently, such as prices,
stocks, quantities - things meant to be viewed or updated in "Real" time.
