I am a user of a site called creatureworld.net and for the
past serveral days there has been a problem of a "page
cannot be displayed" on pages where something is submitted
but it doesn't happen every time, and in some cases, it
still submits information, which is shown when the page or
the page before it is refreshed.

This error only happens with IE, but I don't have
information on version range. I use 6.0.

It does not happen all the time, and will go through short
periods (an hour or so) where it seems to work.

Other users have cleared cookies/files/history, even to
the point of re-formatting (for other reasons) but will
still get the errors.

Site administration has affirmed that there hasn't been
code/server changes that coincide with the problems, and
really have not been able to give any help other then say
it only happens with IE.

I am not in staff on this website, I'm only a user, but
these error are driving everyone nuts. I hope that posting
here will shed light on the errors.

Thanks.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

Check this setting.
"Tools, Internet Options/Security/Custom Levels" "Allow META Refresh" must
be Enabled

Or, check if your firewall isn't blocking scripting for the MS URL.
If you've got Norton then, "Allow animations to repeat," needs to be enabled
as well for some web sites, or you get "Done" on your browser status bar and
a blank window.
