I have created a design for my home page that I want to use on every page of
my site. How do I make this happen? Using FP 2003

Take that page and choose File, Save As and select FrontPage Template. Then
start a new page and choose "More page templates" from the task pane and
click on My templates.

Will I do this for each linked page to allow each to have the template?
(Each page will have a section that will have content specific to the linked
page)
Michael

If you want all the pages to have the same Design then yes. If you just
want to "include" the same content on every page (and not a design) then
save that page and on the pages you want to include it on choose Insert, Web
Components, Include Page and select that page. It will appear on al pages
you include it on in the place where you inserted it. Then to make a change
all you have to do is change that one page.

thanks, this should work

Michael, I hope you and David wont mind me jumping in to this thread.

I found that if I use Shared Borders as at
http://www.sandiwaygolf.co.uk/ when I click File | New | New Page and
select Blank Page the new page that is displayed contains the shared
borders and their contents. I then add the particular content that I
want on each page and with Save As give each page its own filename and
title. So each page on the Sandiway Golf Club Web site has a common
top, left and bottom border.

I don't know if this will be regarded as an elegant solution by the
purists but I find it works satisfactorily for me.

Everyone has their own way of doing things Malcolm. If it works for you and
achieves what you want then that's all you need. I personally don't like
the Shared Borders (I like better control over my pages) but many people do.
You use what works.
