1. Ask the others involved what "look and feel" they would like the site to
have - write down those words and keep them in front of you. ("Sporty,
collegiate, colorful", etc.)
2. Gather up any visuals you need or want to include - logo graphic, photos,
etc. Think about how you can use them, remembering that you need (1) a page
design which is common to all pages and (2) graphics to dress up the
individual pages.
4. Play around - don't rush. Make a number of drafts, saving and re-saving
(draft01.htm, draft02.htm, etc.) in case you want to go back to a previous
version.
