Not sure where this pgm is installed, FireFox or XP but when I use the print
preview feature under file it used to show number pages it will take to
print the entire selected feature. Now it only shows 1 page regardless of
the actual number.

Is there a fix for this?

tks all

I use XP Serv. P 2

Some prog.s (such as Word, and the two main .pdf readers) have their own
print front end, though it does call the printer driver of course. (I
didn't _think_ you can turn off the page counter in those.)

If you're talking about printing from Firefox, I assume you mean web (or
saved HTML) pages. I'm not aware of any way you can disable the page
count at the top of it's Print Preview function (Alt-F, then V), though
from within that, if you go into Page Set_u_p, Margins & Header/Footer,
you can turn off the Page # of # that actually prints on each page.

Am I helping?

A thought: in the version of Firefox I'm using (3.6), how I've got it
set up (I think the default for this aspect - I'm not aware of any way
to change it), the page count is in the sort of status line at the top
left of the print preview window; you aren't looking for it at the
bottom are you?

The OP is talking about "Page Preview" not showing all pages in
range (or, more precisely, he can't get it to show more than the first page in
range)....

Your suggestion is only relevant to those wishing to alter how page numbers and
titles print on the document (headers and footers) in "Page Setup".

Doing what you suggest will only alter how the document prints it's title (header)
and page number, etc. (footer) and will have no effect on whether or not the OP can
"see" his full page range in "Print Preview" or not!

Sorry.

To "franktee",
sorry too, I feel I was a bit abrupt there, plus, having told
you what the problem wasn't, I can not tell you, or the OP, how to resolve the
original issue...
