Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.

Hi Frank Saunders / Pa Bear,

Thanks for your immediate response.I have tried the two steps but then also
the problem is not solved.I have checked in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
it showed hosts and lmhosts.sam then i renamed hosts to hosts.old i rebooted
then also the problem not solved.I have tried u r secon step also it aloso
does not works for my problem.

i have a doubt i used avast antivirus home edition software.I have done a
shedule boot scan during the i have deleted two files from that only i could
not able to acess only these two web sites.I could not able to restore the
deleted files since i have uninstalled the antivirus software.

Please give some other solutions to solve my issue.

You should NOT have uninstalled Avast Anti-Virus! Get an anti-virus
application installed NOW! If cost is a factor, here are 2 free ones:

Avira AntiVir
http://www.free-av.com/

Avast4
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

[[Your anti-virus application should be configured to seek and install
updates automatically, daily, at a time when the machine is usually running
and connected to the internet. It should also be configured to run a full
system scan a few minutes after seeking/installing updates, also daily.
Anything less is simply insufficient these days.]]

Update your virus definitions manually, reboot into Safe Mode and run a full
system scan, then reboot into Windows.

You may need to adjust your MTU settings. Start here:
http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks Then run DrTCP, if recommended.

If still no joy...

1. Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? To start
IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; or

Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
add-ons).

3. If you uninstall (a) IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), (b)

Blinds) and do NOT reinstall IE7, does this behavior persist? If it does,
do NOT reinstall IE7.

Make *certain* that you check in at Windows Update immediately after
