page cannot be displayed dns error

i really dont know where to start. my computer was
recently hacked and caused alot of problems in which i
have fixed, except the page cannot be displayed error in
which i never had before the hacking. i have windows xp
home edition ie 6. i have read all the posts on here and
still havent been able to fix the problem tried them all.
then tried the reinstallation of ie but get the following
error ,error in setupapi, missing entry-
installhinsection. does anyone know what the problem is?
i cant access www.classmates.com and my 10 year reunion
is coming up and cant access their site. it is the only
one. please any info would be greatly appreciated.thanx

Safely Rename the HOSTS file

In the event you can not access a site and you believe it may be due to an
entry in the HOSTS file.

You can use a simple batch file to rename the HOSTS file "on-the-fly".
