Page can not be displayed

I have no browser/e-mail access at all. I have windows XP
pro. I can ping my IP so I am connected to my IP. My IP is
telling me Internet Explorer has become corrupt and needs
to be repaired or re-installed. I can not un-install I.E.
using add/remove programs. INF file missing. Obviously, I
am making this request from a different computer. I tried
re-installing XP last night with no luck. Please help!

Did you uninstall some "spyware" applications such as LOP.COM or NEW.NET?

These types of "spyware" mess with the winsock registry entries and produce
the symptoms you mention.

I believe that the latest release of Ad-Aware can repair these problems.
Insure you have the latest version V6.181 and the latest reference files.
