Hi All,
I have a report that lists students and books and scores by teachers. I
want a page break so that each page has one teacher and all of her students.
Right now I have a teacher and her students and the next teacher and her
students on the same page. I'm totally new to this so if you can help me,
tell me in detail what to do. I've read a lot and I just can't get it. I
can't tell you how long it took me to even make this database - but it came
out really great! Now I have to finesse! I'm using Access 2000. Thanks
Leslie

Hi Leslie,
To print the next teacher and her students on a new page, do the following:
With the report in design view, click on View>Sorting and Grouping.
Under the Field/Expression heading, select Teacher (or whatever your
variable name is).
When you do this, you will see below an option that says "Group Header",
etc. Select "Yes" by Group Header.
Close the Sorting and Grouping box and look at your report (still in design
view). You'll notice that above the detail section, you now have a section
entitle "Teacher Header."
Click on this header and click View>Properties. In the box that pops up,
select the "Format" tab. The first option is "Force New Page". By "Force
New Page", select "Before Section".
You should now have a new page for each teacher.

Hope this helps!
Sandi
