Whenever I do a search in yahoo. It always displays the
message "Page cannot be displayed". Which was weird since
it was working fine a couple of weeks ago. And
for "www.google.com" it displays the same message "Page
cannot be displayed"...I have to use the IP address for it
to access it.
i don't know if it has something to do with this, but a
few weeks ago the "cPanel" web keeps on appearing in my
PC. I tried to reinstall the IE and it was gone.
This is my office PC, and my office mates PC are working
fine...tried to compare configurations and it seems the
same.
I thought maybe, there something in the registry or
whatever which causes the problem.
Do you think I can correct this issue?

Yes you can.

You have the Qhosts trojan.
Insure you install the latest fixes from Microsoft so that I wont come back
again.
Read about it here and get the removal tool.

If you had used the Search function you would see this has been answered
many many times already.
