[TOP ISSUE - Are you having difficulty opening presentations in PowerPoint
that you just created (you can save, but not open)? -

Hello,
It could be that one of your systems environment variables is pointing to a
location which does not exist.
A) From the Start menu, Right-Click on "My Computer" and choose
"Properties" from the contextual menu
B) In the "System Properties" dialog click on "Environment Variables"
button in the "Advanced" tab
1) Does the "TMP" variable point to a valid location (select entry and
click on "Edit" button to see full path defined for TMP)
2) Does the "TEMP" variable point to a valid location (select entry and
click on "Edit" button to see full path defined for TEMP)
Otherwise, there might be something about the contents of the presentation
which is triggering this message incorrectly.
3) Does the "Copy to Folder" button in the Package for CD dialog report the
same error message?
4) If you do a Save As... (not a Save) of the presentation to a new
location, Close, Open and try to Package to CD again, do you still get the
error message?
5) What kinds of linked and embedded (OLE, movies, sounds, etc.) do you
have in your presentation?
Thanks,
John Langhans
