I am running windows XP Professional and Office XP. When
I try to use the pack and go, it tells me that I need to
install components to make it work. I am then prompted to
insert Office Professional XP, which I do not have--I only
have Windows XP professional. How can I get the pack and
go function to work? I have a large 5.5bm presentation
that I need to save to a CD rom.

Bruce,

This sounds like Pack and Go is not installed. That's why it's asking for the original XP pro cd to install it.

Either use your CD-writer software to write the powerpoint file to CD or find the Office XP CD

You can still save to cd without pack and go. If you
have a cd writer and writing programme just "burn" it
onto a cd, BUT of course the machine you then show it on
may lose some of the fonts etc. Hope this helps.
