G'day mates,

I was doing a quick google and stumbled across the Pacific C
compiler for MSDOS, which is allegedly freeware (or perhaps
regoware?). Whatever... Anyone had any experience with it? Is it
worth a pinch of the proverbial?

Thanks for your interest.

Cheers, Phred.

DJGPP is a pretty good compiler, and it's open source.

Don't know about that one, but I have been using Power C for many
years with good success. It costs $20 but you get an enormous
fat book with it that's worth more than compiler itself. Very
nicely written.

It is a good product (and small), there is no question.
Also, I think Borland C is now free.
