Hi,
I'm trying to determine how IE works when accessing servers it deems to be
'local' and a PAC file is used.
For example (in a corporate environment) - if a user tries tries to access
http://mail.mydomain.com and the user's computer is a member of mydomain.com
and on the same IP network, does IE query the PAC file to determine how to
get to the site? Or does IE know 'automatically' that the server is local and
ignore the PAC file?
Have tried searching Technet and Google but cannot find the answer.
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers
Andrew
