know of a product that connects dirrectly to the internal AAFP connectors?

Most cases that have front audio ports will work. We are a
dealer and one of our more popular mid-level cases which
supports that is the Antec TX640B.

Yes, that's what I use, an Antec TX640B from newegg. Works great!
