p5ad2 premium+asus xt 850 pe problem !

hi

when i've installed for the first time my graphic card , it was easy
But for remove the graphic card , it's very difficult because i can't
push the Button who block the graphic card ( in blue)
This button is , more , hide by the graphic card !
i try to remove this card but one side is blocked (the side of this
button )
if i force ??
i would not to break my motherboard or graphic card :(

Get a second person to help you. One person with tiny fingers to
hold back the tab, the other person to ease the video card out
of the slot.

I looked at pictures of both the video card (it is a fat one) and
the motherboard, and I think I could reach down and access it.

Yes, you should move the plastic tab, while pulling on the card.
It is just not an easy thing for one person to do by themselves.
I have trouble moving the tab and pulling my less powerful video
cards from their slot - it is hard to do this with just one
person, and doubly so if the tab is hard to reach.

If you try to use a tool on that tab, it will probably slide off
and damage something. A finger is the safest thing to use.

Here is a picture of a PCI Express retention mechanism.

Notice how the latch fits into the hole in the green PCB material ?
You have to pull the latch out of the hole with one finger, while
using your other hand to pull vertically on the video card.

Yes, that looks good. When moved in the "yes" direction of your
figure, the video card should be removable.

To view the picture I included in the
other posting, you have to save the material from
the "PS-Adobe-3.0" line to the "%%EOF" line inclusive.
Save the file with an extension of .ps as the information
is the PostScript language (a language used inside printers).
Software packages for viewing PostScript are available here:

The following download, is the low level part of the PostScript
viewing application. It is capable of parsing PostScript and
can even distill and make PDF documents from PostScript files.

This is the high level part of the viewer application, a User Interface
for easy use.

I used PostScript, so that news servers could not filter off
an attachment. I have other tricks, but I figured this one would
be easier to use. A bitmap picture would have used a lot more
news group bandwidth, so I tried that PostScript vector drawing
instead.
