I wanted to know if 4Ghz overclocked is good from 3.2Ghz? I wanted to
OC atleast a gig from the original, but computer won't even boot if I
tried.

Does anyone have the same motherboard and CPU? How much were you able
to OC?

You will need at least water cooling (highend) to oc that high. You need to
watch those tems if your going to OC it. 3.8ghz look more realistic even
with the best aircooling you may get 4.0. You also need fast ram to do it.
Overclocking regual 3200 wont get you far at all depending on the moduel
you have.

You missed the era of the easy 1 GHz OC with the older northwood cores. You
won't be able to do it without some serious (water) cooling on the current
core's.

I, myself, have fond memories of my P4 1.6Ghz (northwood) that would do
2.6Ghz air-cooled (rock solid stability) on my BD7-II.

My P4-560j (3.6GHz) choked and sputtered at 4GHz with stock cooler on this
MB, but purrs along happily at 4GHz with Zahlman air cooler; I haven't tried
it higher.
