P5AD2 audio update fails

I tried to update to the latest drivers from the Asus web site. The
update gets part way through installing bus drivers then says "device
does not exist or maybe removed by manually. Please plug in device or
reboot and try install again". The driver install on the Asus disk
that came with the mother board work o.k. but the update does not.
Anyone know why?

That happened to me the other day. I had to install the drivers from
the CD in the end, I have noticed however the is new version of website
so perhaps that addresses it.
