Greetings

I have a computer with an ASUS P5A-B Super 7 mother board.

It has been running a few years with WIN98. I decided to install WINXP
and the installation went without a problem except that The CD players
are no longer visible and addressable. In the safe mode they are there
but in the normal mode they are gone.
Is this a known problem?

Regards,

Tjalco

BigT:

That's pretty frisky, installing WinXp in an ol' war-horse like the P5A-B.
Mine ( 450-K6 ) has worked well for years under WinME.
