P4T533 & 3.06 P4 Processor Experiences

HI, I am currently using the P4T533 with a 533mhz 2.4 P4 processor and am
considering using the 3.06 533 mhz P4 processor but recall that some people
had problems with this motherboard with the 3.06 due to a weak or inadequate
component on the board on early revisions...

Has anyone used this combination successfully and are the rumors that I
heard true? ANY experience with this combo is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Works fine in a mainboard manufactured after October 2002 for me...
