I have a problem with my computer. I've built computer with ASUS
P4SGX-MX, CELERON 1.7, DDR 256, SEAGATE 80 GB. Installation of Windows
XP went fine, but now the computer shuts off by itself after couple
hours without any reason. Usually, if computer is not used.
Any help would be really appreciated

Is it shut off or is it "sleeping" ? Check the Power Management
options, to see if it is set up to go to sleep, when it
detects no user input.

Assuming all the Power Management functions have been disabled
and the machine is really set up to stay powered up, you might
want to get a copy of Motherboard Monitor. MBM5 has a logging
capability, and you can record voltages, temperatures, and
fan speeds to a text file. When the computer shuts off, you
can review the contents of that text file, for any
anomalies, like high temps or low voltages.

Paul
