P4S8X Max Proc ?

What is the maximum processor I can install in the P4S8X Motherboard?
The ASUS website says "2.7+".

Could I install the P4-3.2Ghz proc in this board?
(I know the board does not do hyper-threading)

This page says 2.8GHz is the max. The board had power problems, so
running a faster processor, or overclocking a lower one past this
point, are tempting fate. Try a search in the forums of www.abxzone.com
for more information. The P4S8X-X fixed the Vcore problems, which
doesn't help you. The board should work fine with lesser processors.
