Any proud owners of this board out there other than me?

If so, let's get some discussion going about it. I'm not able to O/C mine
very well. Can only get to FSB 230 with stability. Won't even POST at FSB
240 no matter what I do with RAM ratios or timings.
Tried upping voltages (Vcore as high as 1.80, Vdimm all the way up to 2.85)
Tried 3:2 ratio and loose RAM timings, no help indicating the CPU is the
limiting factor. But maybe it's that I'm too chicken to give it enough
Vcore. But "they" all are saying that FSB of 250 on stock voltage is to be
expected.

I have done all of this with manual BIOS settings, all the usual recommended
things disabled.

P4 2.6c (800 FSB)
P4S800d-e deluxe
1002 BIOS
1G OCZ 3700 gold rev 2
Zalman 7000 Cu HSF, Arctic Silver 5
2 x 37G WD Raptor SATA 10,000, RAID 0
1 x 250G, Maxtor, 8MB, 7200 (slave on IDE 1)
WinXP Pro

What experiences are others having with this board?

I built a new box with this mainboard a few weeks ago; the price was
terrific, and while the BIOS is not quite as tweakable as some others I have
owned, it is still a great board.

I bought a 3 GHz P4 (Northwood), and have absolutely no intention of
overclocking it. Everything I run is plenty fast for me, thank you.

I also hooked in a new Maxtor SATA hard disk; it's very quiet, but the
benchmarks aren't quite as fast as I had hoped for... you really need to run
a RAID with SATA, to get the phenomenal numbers that many are reporting.

All in all, I'm very pleased, and do not plan to go back to an AMD-based
board, after burning through two Athlons in two years...

Did you try adding a fan to the North Bridge heat sink?
I'm having the same problem with my P4S800d-e deluxe and I plan on changing
the heat sink for one that has active cooling.

I'm currently running my P4 2.8c @ 3.2 GHz. It's very stable at that speed.
The temp readout on my Themaltake case registers 28°c at idle and 43°c after
an hour playing BF1942.

Have not tried adding the fan. I've been running Prime 95 for days.
Current settings FSB 233, my P4 2.6 is at 3.03, Temp holding steady at 40
cpu and 31 board. Using Vcore of 1.60, and Vdimm of 2.85.

I'll try the fan for the northbridge. Thanks for the idea. Any idea of one
that is easy to install and works?
