OK, here's the hardware:
ASUS P4S533 board with Award Bios version 1010, 1024 gig PC2100 RAM,
Pentium 4 two gig processor, Western Digital 40 gig hard drive, Windows
98SE operating system. Entire system functioned normally without a
problem when last shut down yesterday. This morning, fired it up and it
could not find the hard drive, followed by a message "BIOS disabled",
eventually followed by Boot disk failure, insert bootable floppy
(obvious, since it could not find the hard drive).
Can anybody out there clue me in on what has happened, and what can be
done to fix it? Or, has my motherboard soiled the sheets?
