The first thing I noticed looking at the manual, is you can only use
one PC3200 DIMM per channel. So, using easily available 512MB double
sided PC3200 DIMMs, you can get 1GB of memory on the board. You may
have to slow the memory down, to put more memory than this on the board.

I wouldn't expect the integrated graphics to be good for gaming. You may
want to investigate whether the 3D features line up with DX7, DX8, or DX9.
You can use a 1.5V AGP card instead, as there is an AGP slot. (The reason
I mention this, is the 865G based motherboard I just got, doesn't even
do all of the features of DX8.)

Based on the review, I see that the ATI chipset does manage to run 3Dmark2001
without a problem, unlike the 865G which the chipset is compared to.

As for the P4R800-VM board itself, I didn't find it when I searched on
Abxzone, so maybe it is too new. I'd let someone else test it first :-)
Also, if you have plans of running Linux or another alternate OS on it,
you might want to check what support is available from ATI for drivers
and the like.

Paul
