P4P81018 BIOS Release Note ?

Does anyone have any idea where I can
get the release note for the P4P800
Ver 1018 BIOS upgrade. It's not included
in the zip file and I don't seem to be able
to find it on the Asus site.

Well I had a response from UK Asus Support...

"As far as I know it's just new CPU microcode,
you should ignore it unless you are putting in a new processor."

How the F%^k is that response unprofessional. It was direct and to the point.
 
What is unprofessional is that ASUS put out
a new BOIS version without a Release note.

Also the support guy say "As far as I know... "

So is that a guess on his part - It sort of sounds
that he is not quite sure. Is there perhaps a list
of what new processors? Or should we just make
guesses about that too...

Anyone who has worked in a reasonable software
development organisation will tell you that putting
out a new version without an accompanying Release
Note is not a good idea.
