It's been awhile since i flashed bios.
I cant remember what version i have cause i renamed it 1010 i think.
anyway my question is how do i find out for sure what version i have.
any help is appreciated.

When you boot up look for this number (see picture in link):

Make sure you don't have "full screen logo" enabled in bios though -- or you
won't see that screen on booting up. It happens real fast, so you may need
to press the "pause/break" key to stop the screen during booting. It also
happens real early in the boot process.

Easier than trying to glimpse the startup screen, you can get this
information and more from within Windows using the AsusUpdate program, which
came with your board.

I don't believe that the Asus update program shows the bios software
revision number. I think it only shows the bios chip number (like 8.0009 or
something like that).

Well, I hope your not sticking with that line :)

In AsusUpdate, simply go to the pull down menu and choose option 'Check Bios
Information'
It will spit a screen that looks like this:

BIOS ROM Information
Model : P4C800-E
Version: 1014.003 (thats bios version 1014)
Chipset: I875P
Date: 11/21/2003-12:14:47
Onboard Sound: None (woa)
Onboard Lan: Exist (wl)
BIOS Size: 512K BIOS Type: AMI
