Does it make any difference to performance if you install a second identical
piece of RAM in A2, B1 or B2? I am using 512MB Crucial RAM (highly
recommended in the UK for both speedy service and quality btw)?

It works in any of the 3 remaining sockets (A1 being taken up by the first).
As it is, I have installed it in B1 (to remind myself that if I'm going to
add more RAM it has to be identical in aperture).

Table 1 in the manual says A1-B1 is a good combo. Dual channel gives
more memory bandwidth, so I guess it is a good thing :-)
