My board doesnt seem to want to boot up from keyboard. It has the ODD time
but usually no go.
Anyone got any Ideas?
That music thing is disabled by the way.

You need to set it in bios, and even then it only works if AC Power has not
been turned off since the last shutdown.

If you turn the PC off at the power point, then turn the power point back
on, the Keyboard Power Up will not work.

Eh, usually systems boot up from a disk (CD/DVD/HDD/Floppy) not a
keyboard.
It has the ODD time but usually no go. What?

I've no idea what your even talking about and neither do you by the
sound of it.

So its a muscial keyboard as opposed to a QWERTY one?
*puzzled*

Make sure all the jumpers are set for both PS/2 and USB wake.

Ever read a manual? You're the one who has sounds absolutely clueless,
not the original poster.

Ah, glad to see your humour bypass operation worked! :-P

The OP said he wanted to boot up FROM the keyboard, NOT POWER ON by the
keyboard.

As for "music thing" what in your mighty wisdom do you think that is? I
suppose the onboard sound might be what he means but if not then please
point me to the page in the manual which mentions a "music thing".

OP probably has the Deluxe version or a P4P800S and is referring to the ASUS
Instant Music feature........

You might try looking up the "Asus instant music" feature. (I wouldn't use
it, even if I was using the onboard sound, which it requires.)
