I am having problems wiyh my new asus motherboard. I
installed a P4 2.8, 1x512 ddr, maxtor 120 gb, and a asus videocard with a
geforce chipset. Running xp home I have the following problem, at 200 MHZ my
onboard soundcard does not work but if I tune it back to 133 MHZ it works
fine. Have tryed just about everything but can`t find the solution. My
neighbour has exactly the same computer with the same problem. Hope to hear
from you.

I assume the cpu is a 800fsb version.
This board was never designed to run at these speeds tho you appear to be
able to but the pci bus is way out of spec. have you tried adjusting the
agp/pci frequency manually does that help?

Whenever I overclock the CPU on P4G8X series motherboard, it will
shut off 5.1 onboard audio. What's wrong?
Please enter BIOS->ADVANCED, set "AGP/PCI FREQUENCY SETTING" to
[MANUAL], and then set "AGP/PCI FREQUENCY" to [66/33] to slove the problem.
