I have a P4G8X that I just got a week or so ago. I have a single sata drive,
a single dimm chip, cdrom and floppy. On a cold boot, I sometimes get an
error on boot saying that I need to enter the power setup to correct. If I
hit the reset, it will boot fine. Is this a bios issue, or a setup issue, or
what?
Thanks

Hi Noel,

sorry for late response, I´was out for work 8-((

What revison is the BIOS?
What kind of Graphics do you have installed,
What Powersupply is used.
What tells you the hardware monitor.
Maybe the CPU Fan is not responding allways, or is to slow.
The same is effected for chassis monitors mounted to the MOBO

First, I would disable all Fans.

Case fan
Thanks
