When the PC4800e boots it's showing a ddr speed of 400mhz. I thought it
should run at 800, or is it 400 x 2?

Also cannot get the power up space bar option to work.

The DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM runs at twice the FSB (the FSB on that board
is 200 MHz).
Thus 200 MHz x 2 = 400 MHz.
The CPU is Quad Pumped and runs at four times the FSB.
Thus, CPU: 200 MHz x 4 = 800 MHz.

Your system is running fine.

For keyboard power on you must set a jumper on the MB (near the PS2 Keyboard
connector) and set the BIOS properly. Your PS needs to have a decent
standby power rating as well.
