I'm building a PC with a P4C800E Deluxe in an Antec SX1040B II case (which
comes with a power supply).

1. One of the cables that comes out of the power supply is a "6-pin Aux
Power Connector." I can not find any place on the P4C800E to connect that
cable. Am I missing something or is that cable not necessary for this
board?

2. There are two cables coming from the front panel of the case labelled
"LED I" and "LED II." (All other front panel cables are accounted for.)
The Antec manual says these can be used for any optional purposes. Are
there any I ought to use with the P4C800E?

Thanks.

Not needed... I beleive these are for extra power to video cards, etc.

I think the IDE and SATA channels have separate LED jumpers on the mainboard
so you might want to use them there. I believe there is a GREEN (power save)
LED jumper as well.

Same combo here.

1. Not needed
2. Not used, unless you find useful LED headers to connect them to on the
MB. The two associated LEDs are below the HDD activity LED on the case.

AFAIK, the USB ports on that case are not 2.0 compliant. You may want to
confirm this and call Antec for a replacement USB/Firewire port board. It's
better to replace it now while you're in "tinker mode". Ditched mine in
favor of more sturdier mounted 5.25" bay ports. Also, ditched the air
filter, it's going to do more harm than good in the long run unless you're
prepared to dismantle and clean. I'm not.

I used em for my other controllers;. i have a promise tx4000 (faster then
the raid one onboard) and an antec scsi controlker..

The auxilary pwr connector is not needed for this MB. My Antec 430
PSU has the same kind of aux conctor so I know what you are talking
about. As far as the led's from the front panel of the case, you
should closely view them to make sure what the intended function is on
lighting up the case led indicators from the front of the case. Those
led connections probably serve an intended purpose with the case
manufacturer. You will want to make sure those led connectors plug in
to the correct place on the MB L.E.D. (light emitting diode) panel on
the corner of the motherboard.
