P4C800E-de luxe: need confirmation of jumper orientation

On top of page 2-21 point 6 "SMB2.0 (Two 3-pins SMB20)" of the manual it
states that pins 2-3 are shorted by default.

Could someone confirm: is the orientation of the jumpers parallel to the
PCI-slots or perpendicular?

Thanks, that solved my problem!
Jumpers were perpendicular to the PCI-slots and I got "System failure CPU
test" messages..
Up and running now!
