There are some troubles with 1019. Many reports.

For me , I couldn´t boot from my IDE disk. It was changed back to my SATA so
no boot. I had to disable IDE disc in bios. Than it worked. Ide disc was
identified by Win-XP even if it was disabled. So I went back to 1017.

If you are running xp /w sp2, that could be the problem. After reloading the
operating system I found that sp2 is no longer available with windows
update. Went to the website and it's not there. After using their website to
check my system, it says that I can update, "when it's available."

With only xp sp1 my p4c800 deluxe et.al. is working great with the new
official bios upgrade so far. Presently configured to raid 0 with 2 80gb
seagate drives with a 20 gb ide for backup.

I ran the beta 1019 and had problems, but I have a feeling it would have run
fine too without the sp2. I noticed quite a few posts on alt.os.windows-xp

My P4C800DLX w/ 1019 runs fine on XP SP2. The only issue I've had with SP2
is onboard firewire no longer recognized. I had to purchase an adaptic card
to make my DVDs from my camcorder. Microsoft are you listening?
