Found a new 1019 beta bios. It fixes the long Computer BIOS Post time.
Theres a new option to "Quick detect Hard Drives"

Seems to work Fine here.
You bet it does! MAJOR improvement over 1018. Now, after the machine
finishes POST, it immediately boots the hard disk. None of the
ridiculous pause stuff. Anybody who is still using the 1018 BIOS, do
yourself a BIG favor and flash up the 1019.004 beta. Here's the syntax:
afudos /i1019ed.004 /pc
The /pc "destroys" the CMOS. All that means is that it completely wipes
out any settings in the CMOS, and forces you to set everything up. Have
the manual handy to know the defaults. Or load the defaults and then
adjust for your specific hardware configuration.
The other thing I noticed about this BIOS is that it doesn't give a
checksum error after flashing, like to 1018 did. After some searching,
appears that a checksum error after flashing isn't that bad of a thing,
as long as it doesn't do that with every boot. Still, it's not the most
reassuring thing to see a checksum error after flash, thinking you've
just destroyed a $200 board. The 1019.004 does not generate a checksum
error after flash. What a relief!
