Are there any issues/gotchas with booting from a USB2 floppy or USB2 CD/DVD
drive connected to the P4C800-E Deluxe?

Will most any USB2 floppy be bootable or is what's in the external floppy
box/interface make a difference?

Will most any USB2 CD/DVD drives be bootable or is what's in the external
USB2 CD box/interface make a difference? What about the exact drive type
like one of the new low cost drives like a Sony DWU18A DVD±RW Drive and
external USB2 bootability?

Yes

I have now tried this using an MWave ext USB2 box + DWU18A and it boots the
XP Pro CD and clean installs XP Pro fine.
