these 2 items I want to get soon myself; same mobo and ram (2x256)
3-3-4-7 @280 @2.85V @1:1
In my research I have read that overclocking a p4c cpu is not possible; but
that changing the fsb settings [indirectly] accomplishes the same thing.
The 2.85V is to adjust for the fsb extra V drain at 280 (FSB1120). If you
interpret the benchmarks fsb is much more important than cas timings for
increasing performance.
actually, if anyone could answer these, I'd appreciate it:
Q1 So this is the only potential performance improvement for a p4c. No
other (esp direct) way to overclock?
Q2 my other components will be... Will the presence of these affect the
maximizing of this overclocking i.e@3-3-4-7 @280 @2.85V @1:1, esp the AGP4x

Q4 p4 2.6C or 2.8C vs 2.4. The test at anandtech uses 1024 MB mem and a
2.4 GB cpu. If I am using a 2.6, or 2.8, and 512MB RAM, will these simple
numbers change, and by how much? Same question as with Q2 about the simple
