P4C800 Deluxe: Overclocking parameters?

Not sure if i'm missing something here, but this PIV 3.0gz (800mz)
doesn't seem to want to overclock reliably. I'm running Corsair 3500
memory (2x512) set at 400mz. Are there special settings in BIOS I
should be changing besides the CPU clock speed? Does using the
overclock ( in % increments) work better than manually stepping it up?
Is there a guide somewhere with BIOS setup regarding O/C?

Just go to Google groups, search on "P4C800 Overclocking question", it will
