Whenever I load up the computer using the Deluxe I get a message after it has
scanned for the IDE drives ........

'No drive attached to FastTrak controller, The BIOS is not installed'

On starting up I get 'FastTrak 378 (tm) BIOS version 1.00.1.34
2002-05 Promise Technology' if this helps.

Why am I getting this message and does this affect anything ? How do I get rid
of the message ?

Thanks.
Zack.

In your BIOS under Onboard Device Configuration you need to disable Onboard
Promise Controller if you are not using it. This is the RAID controller for
your Mother Board.

Disable this controller in BIOS on the Advanced page if you are using an IDE
drive. (check your MB manual for more info)

Dan's right about what setting to change, but this is the RAID for your
P-ATA ports.
the 875 chipset does the raid for s-ata.

Both chips can handle sata
