Not sure if this is in the correct forum as it contains both MB and Graphics
card questions.

I've just bought a P4C800 D and was intending to fit my Connect3D Radion
9500 Pro, however on page 2-17 of the motherboard manual it states that
"if fitting an Ati 9500 or 9700 Pro series card use only the card version
PN xxx-xxxxx-30 or later."
Mine (of course) has a PN 109-A05600-00.

As I am not intending to OC can anyone tell me what the problem is, or, if
they are running a 9500 Pro with an early PN do they have any problems?

I've got the P4C800-D and a 9700 Pro ending in -11
99% of the time, it should work just fine, even with an overclock to
285FSB. Most people with this combo are running without a hitch,
especiaqlly if you're not overclocking. Worse case, RMA the card back to
ATI and they'll send you a newer card.

The problem is the AGP-8X implemention on early Radeons.

Once everything is installed go to the smartgart tab of the display
settings and set the AGP rate to 4X. You won't notice the difference
in performance.

I have a -11 9700Pro in a P4C800 Deluxe and it's fine.
