P4B533-E : problem with Raid and Optical device

Hi,

I downloaded the Bios "Pure Dma" 1015Beta2u, in the description it says that
support optical devices on raid ide, I connected on primary Raid Ide Two
80gb hard disk and in secondary a Dvd reader (master).

The bios of Raid recognize in the right way the three devices, but under
Windows Xp the Dvd reader doesn't appear.

Can someone please help me ?

DVD don't work on Raid.
DVD work fine on IDE (from Motherboard).

Thank you for the reply. Sorry may be a language understanding problem
(I'm italian), what they mean for "optical devices ?" isn't it a crom
reader, cdrw or dvd reader ?

controller works like it were 2 simple Udma channel, isn't right ?
