as from object, I sometimes have this problem when I start the pc this,
it doesn't depart and the screen stays black!!!!!! when after various
attempts him
restart me from errors of overclock.. but I have always left all from
default.
asus p4800s/x chipset 484 (malefic!) intel3.0 ghz prescot, has changed
different cards video but same problem, adjourned bios where the site asus
it makes bios1005a available really to resolve this problem.. but the
problem doesn't resolve him!
I have planned instead for now manually the bus that to 200 to 180, of
consequence goes down me the frequency of the ram (kingston) to 333 instead
that
400, and the processor goes instead to 2.80 that 3.00. so everything
funzia.. but that
absurdity!!

See my earlier post, I have the same problem. The latest bios doesn't solve
the problem at all. I reported Asus last week but didn't get any support
back. Now, Í have to use the more expensive P4P800-X
You don't have to change your hardware, like processor and memory. That is
not the problem

Hope they will come with a good bios upgrade very soon.

Try disconnectiing all fans except cpu, all disk drives, only use video
card.
Be sure all connectors (memory etc) are seated correctly.
