I've got Soltek SL-65KV2-CT motherboard, which support that cpu
fine. Based on VIA chipset if this is good for you and you can find it
somewhere.

You have some tough choices. On the Via chipset motherboards, you
may want to Google on "686B bug" and do some reading. For the Intel
815 based boards, there is the maximum 512MB limit on memory.

I bought a TUA266 (ALI chipset) a while back, and had AGP problems
with it I couldn't fix (random freezing). Tried many different versions
of AGP chipset driver from ALI to no benefit.

Many of the older motherboards used PCI to connect the Northbridge
to the Southbridge. This sometimes results in issues with I/O
speed or performance (need to dial down the latency timer, to
get fairness between cards etc).

As an alternative choice, I found this:

http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/P3/VIA/P3TDDE.cfm
http://www.finnsoft.com/priclist/supmic.htm ($281)

Advantages:
1) Uses virtually any SDRAM (reg/unbuffered/ECC or not)
2) The T in the 266T means it'll run a tualatin ?

Disadvantages"
1) 10.7" x 11.2"
2) 20/24 pin power plus 6 pin power
(The 20 pin should be enough for one processor. The Aux power
six pin connector isn't on all power supplies.)

If it isn't out of your price range, do some Googling on
the model name, to see if there are any issues.

Paul
