There is an unofficial version of Kazaa available, with all of the adware
and spyware removed. It also contains some nice features not included in
the official version:

It will have essentially the same interface your kid is accustomed to.

Uninstalling Kazaa may not remove its bundled spyware/adware. You may
want to run AdAware to clean up the mess Kazaa leaves behind:

So you're okay with them breaking copyright laws, but you're worried about
spyware? Hmm...

I was "asking a "question", a-hole!!!!! If I want any "law opinions" from
YOU, I will be sure to ask!!!

The latest version of WinMX is 3.53. It is an excellent file-sharing program,
and used by millions. Copyright violations??? When DVD burners are being
loaded in new PCs and utilized by millions, how do you define legality?
I do not recommend Kazaa, including Kazaa Lite, for it is loaded with
spyware/malware, pop-ups and trackers. If you have it installed, you might
consider getting rid of it.
How to Uninstall Kazaa, Remove Kazaa ads, Delete Kazaa, Removing Kazaa

dont be prsumtious, how would you know what they download, no one needs a
speech on morality

Thanks Byte .... I've read good things about WinMX .... think I'll give it a
try!! And thanks for the site on getting this Kazaa crap off the computer!!!
And you are "dead on" about the DVD burners being installed ........ :)

A DVD burner installation implies nothing. They allow you to create data
or movie DVDs of your own content. They don't entitle you to steal.

It's like saying you've got hands,so you're therefore allowed to shoplift.

Mike, your analogy is "self-righteous", with that, our prisons and courts
would be overcrowded with all the violators and there are probably millions.
Not only
here in the USA but world-wide. If you have a better solution than complete
abstinance it could be worth a fortune. C'est la vie!

I'm pointing out the difference between enablement and entitlement. That
point is lost on everyone it seems.

Also not everyone "here" is in the USA...
