Helping out a friend:
Has a small home network. Linksys 4Port Router, DSL, two
computers, one with 98, one with XP. On the XP machine
they are getting an error message pop up constantly. In a
message box titled "P2P Networking" it says "Can't Start
Server." I'm assuming it is related to the service
called "Server" which is responsible for file sharing,
printer sharing etc. I set up file share and shared a
printer on the XP machine so the 98 can print to it. Any
ideas? Thanks.

To start the Server service:

1. Right click My Computer, and click Manage.
2. Double click Services and Applications.
3. Double click Services.
4. Double click Server. If the Service status is Stopped, click
Start.
5. Set the Startup type to Automatic.

If it says that it can't find a necessary file, load the file
"srvsvc.dll" from the Windows XP CD-ROM (Thanks to Ken Wickes for this
information).
