Hi,
i have a p2l97, vers 2.04 mb and i'm happy with it all the time )
It's in a SCSI-only machine and so the original BIOS which was coming
with it was ok! Think is 0105.
Now i will connect a big IDE-drive, a maxtor 120GB. The installed BIOS
will not recognize it. I set the 32GB Cap.Limit jumper and i see now
the drive and the 32GB only. So the first point is: i have to update
the BIOS to use the whole diskspace, _but_: i need SCSI, because the
boot-sequenz is SCSI first!
I got the information that the newer BIOS wouldn't have SCSI-support
any longer. The box has an Adaptec 2940UW in it. Is this relevant for
me?
What BISO version must i use to be able: to boot SCSI first and use
the full size of my 120GB IDE disk?
Thanks a lot!
Cheers Peter
