I have a P2B motherboard it will only see up to a 32GB hard drive. I put in
a WD 40GB drive and set the two jumpers on it to make motherboard think it
was a 32GB hard drive. I don't now how to flash the bio's and don't want to
try. Has anyone used a controller IDE card to use bigger hard drives on a
P2B. If so what make and how did it work.
Thanks Johnny

Why not? It WILL work with a new bios (up to 128GB at least).

Yes, that works, but I'd say installing a newer bios is easier than
installing a new pci card...
(using a controller card though has some performance advantages, though
if that 40GB isn't very new there's probably not that much difference -
also depends if you want to use it only as data storage or main drive).
