P2B with Corsair PC133 Memory problem

Hello,

Recently I have placed a 128MB PC133 Corsair (VS128MB133A) on a P2B
mainboard, but it recognized only 64MB and runs not stable.
I read messages that normally a PC133 module should work on a PC100
complaint mobo. In fact I have used another PC133 module in the past
on a P2B and it worked fine, only with this Corsair module not.
I have tested the module on a A7V133 mainboard and then it works fine.

What could be the problem with the P2B - Corsair combination?

That specific DIMM uses 4 16Mx16 ICs. These, being 256 MBit chips, need
8k refresh instead of 4k refresh, which the BX can't deliver (thus the
instability). You need something with chips that are not larger than 128
MBit (meaning 8 chips per 128 MiB module), with 128 MBit chips only
working if they're 16Mx8 ones (which they should be on a 128 meg
module), and not 32Mx4 (these are too "long").

Jumping on this thread...

So if I buy any 128mb memory for my P2B, I should *always* look for
8 chip layout on the 128's ? What do I look for on a 256mb chip ?
